Question from Coda Book
« on: August 01, 2019, 09:04:52 pm »
Hi all! I have a question regarding the Coda book. On page 6, Practice scales. In the 3rd excersize, 14th measure, last note. It is both D and E. This is the first time I've encountered this in ocarina. I went through my MO books too. It's also the only time I see it in the Coda Book. I'm not sure how to proceed.

Actually it is a B and an E.  The B note is below the official range of the CODA so I would go with the the E.  Later on you may want to learn how to shade the fipple with your lower lip and it would be good practice for that.

Yes it is very cool. I have went all the way down to a low G.  8) Though it is hard to get a useful low G. Low A,Bb and B is definitely usable though. :)  ;)
